In november 2002 verscheen in Aloha onderstaande lijst.
Samengesteld door lezers die elk tien titel mochten aandragen.
De lijst is, tja, niet verrassend.
Alle titels op een na komen voor in de overkoepelende lijst (peildatum oktober 2002).
Het getal in de vierde kolom geeft aan hoe vaak de titel in de overkoepelende lijst voorkomt.
Opmerkelijk is dat in Heaven : popmagazine dat oren opent in nummer 5 (sep/okt) van 2002
een column stond van Paul van der Lecq onder de kop: Hotel California - boycot.
Een artikel waarin de artikel walgt van de titelsong die door het veelvuldig draaien
op bepaalde radiostations als muzak door het leven verder moet gaan.
